Tourism
- Hotel bookings or rental confirmations covering the full stay.
- Day-by-day travel plan, if requested.
Family or private visit
- Attestation d'accueil or invitation letter from the host.
- Copy of the host's ID and proof of residence in France.
Business
- Invitation letter from the French company.
- Employer letter authorising the trip.
- Proof of company registration of the inviting party.
Minors
- Parental authorisation.
- Copies of parents' ID and the minor's birth certificate.

Previous biometrics / previous appointment records, if already available
A BioNET or biometric receipt is usually generated during the appointment process. Upload it only if you already have one from a previous application or appointment. You do not need to obtain one before your appointment.
- Previous Schengen visas (copies).
- Previous travel history pages of older passports.
Tips that prevent rework
- Scan in colour, full page, clearly readable.
- Use the same names, dates and addresses across the form and documents.
- Make sure insurance dates fully cover your travel dates.
- Make sure financial proof covers the entire stay, not just a few days.
